Airsoft in the Daily Mail today
11 March, 2012, 11:07
My missus was reading the newspaper today and found this.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/money/new...ms-battle.html
So, now that they have been classified as "Not A Toy", does that mean prices of guns, accessories etc will go up to cover the duty?

Good old HMRC and the government, yet again screwing us for every penny where ever they can.
Wont be long before everyone has to wear a goldfish bowl sealed over their heads with a fricking meter strapped to the side of it so they can charge us for the poxy air we breathe!
* rant over*
for now.

Re: Airsoft in the Daily Mail today
Well, if I know airsoft retailers half as well as I think I do then you can bet they'll use a 3.2% tax increase to justify a 6.4% increase in prices.
Wait a second, 'how does that work?' I hear you say - it don't.

Yeah, because that would REALLY help the image of airsoft

A lot of the world's problems would be solved if somebody irl firebombed the HMRC HQ and burned it to the ground. When they're done with that they can start on westminster.

Wont be long until were deemed terrorists too with posts like that =S dont give them any more fuel for the fire.
That will be the next thing i reckon, "airsoft weapons used as a training aid for terrorists and fundamentalists" then watch how quick we circle the drain.

If it's not a toy, why does it say they are on some of the boxes.
