So there is now a Video on the terminator forum reviewing the new G&G F2000 or F2010 as they are calling it.

It looks a lot better than the JLS of old but appears to have some of the same design faults that plagued the old one.

Firstly it wont accept Mid and Low caps :eek: The JLS had the same problem and you had to machine the front lower case screw hole off of the gearbox casing. Secondly the motor is exposed to the elements by the built in sling loop. And lastly the rubber butt cap appears to be capable of falling off by it's self.

Still it looks great and although it did not work on the test video apparently the power is adjustable via a turn screw in the butt end.

I won't be placing an order just yet but it's on my list.

I suppose technically almost any V2 V3 gearbox could be made to be variable simply by fitting a spring guide with a thread and machining or install a nut with the corresponding thread and a fixed bolt. Then when you tighten the bolt it would push the spring guide forward giving more compression and upping the power. In theory anyway.

Still nice looking thing and if they bring out the grenade launcher and associated scope it will be a monster gun. :D

Don't have to mod the gb casing... Just gotta shave some of the plastic off the top of the mag, you know, that stupily long piece of plastic coming off the feed that serves no purpose at all. That's what a teammate has done and his mids fit fine in his jls, so in theory the same should apply to the g&g

Yeah did the same to some of mine but it was a very fine line between taking to much or two little. Especially on the MAG Mid-caps as the bit you remove is also the bit that holds the engagement spring. Perhaps G&G will bring out some Mid's for it.

Of course we can all hope that it sells well and that spurs TM on to bring one out! That would be an excellent gun.
