I just got my recent issue of airsoft international and on the back there was a advert for a GBB STEN with a unknown price.
Does any body have any info about it?

Re: Gbb sten
looked at some of the utube place reveiws on this and from what i have read and seen the two things that get to me is why theirs no adjustable hop upfor one, and why the never had the recoil action and semi feature like the real mk2 sten.they went to the trouble of making it full metal why not go the whole hog

Re: Gbb sten
are you on about the aeg version? if so the gun worked fine without an adjustable hop. was a bit wayward on .2s but on .25s, which apparently the fixed hop was calibrated for, it has excellent range and accuracy. As for the other issues, I suppose cost would be the main factor.

Re: Gbb sten
It was only the 1st viva sten's that didn't have an ajustable hop, the 1st AGM was adjustable but you had to part strip the gun to get to it. The 2nd model (stick battery) was modified with a hole in top of mag well. I have the 2nd type AGM and shoot mine against a viva sten. The viva had a touch more range not sure of ammo type mine was .20g, but the AGM sounded a lot better and there was not really anything in the external build quility. But as it's a Sten and should look like a 4 year put it together who cares. I love mine lol and will never part with it. It's a Sten gun what more can I say.
I have purchased a tight bore a TM hop rubber to see if that helps any but going on what jfox just said I'm going to give 0.25's a go before fitting.

Re: Gbb sten
After a chat with Frenchie the GBB Sten is going to be made by a reputable company and will be being made for a certain scottish airsoft shop. I can't say more than that at risk of having my legs cut off with a rusty hacksaw BUT I'll definitely be looking at getting one.

Re: Gbb sten
So it will be over priced then.
They said the same about the AGM Sten, but thankfully other places got some and I managed to get my Version 2 for £160 inc P+P instead of the £190 plus P+P. I also had mine about 3 weeks before they had them in there shop.

AGM Stens are worth every penny even at £190. Incredible guns.

Oh yes fully agree that there fantastic.:D It's just as usual we get ripped off by some of the shops in this country, there about £75 from one of the Homg Kong based sites, so even if you add Postage and VAT etc they still come in about £40-50 cheaper than most shops here. There's no more to them than the AGM MP 40 but cost nearly twice as much depending on were you buy from.
Just rip off England again.
