MTP Now Legal
10 July, 2013, 17:58
I do believe that MTP is now legal to buy as civies. My local surplus store has been waiting an announced they now stock all 3 generations of MTP. Just letting you guys know. And also open to polite correcting if I've gotten this horribly wrong :P
Cheers fellas

Re: MTP Now Legal
Well if it is then I'm about to be very out of pocket...
What did your local surplus store say about pricing?
Lady Astor (first woman MP in the House of Commons): "Mr Churchill, if you were my husband, I'd put poison in your tea."
Winston (getting unsteadily to his feet): "Madam, if I were your husband ... I'd drink it."

I've given them a message to give me a quote on an MTP UBACS and trousers, I'll let you know how that comes out.

Re: MTP Now Legal
Hmm, maybe it's been legal for months or they have some sort of special arrangement, not sure. My surplus store refused to sell it until it was legal. So I assumed now they do, it is. Unless the owners had a change of heart.

I'd be interested to see a reputable source saying this, not saying you are not - I more mean a proper announcement!
Interestingly over the last 30 days the price of Osprey's has fallen to about £50 but I just figured everyone who wanted one has one now.

I saw an online small retailer listing MTP kit yesterday funily enough, I just assumed they were running the risk.
UKAZ forums won't let you sell that sort of stuff I don't think so It'll be interesting if they do start allowing it if it becomes legit.

Re: MTP Now Legal
If you buy an Osprey mk4 cover for around £50, that's exactly what you'll get: the cover.

You could have all just bought
Operation Enduring Freedom Camouflage Pattern
and literally no one could have told you the difference since it's literally identical in every way.

A local airsoft store just took stock of MTP gear, from the photo's it looks like PCS, but have messaged them to confirm, will respond back in a bit.
