Re: Siegetek Dual Sector Gear for PTW?!?!?
Fantastic :D
It's going to be wicked, as DSG setups are already SOOOO reliable in an AEG.
They will, like, last for ever in PTWs...
But for those 4000 rounds you get out of your gun before it melts, oh the trigger response!!!

Do I detect a slight hint of sarcasm there Dave?
That would be quiet impressive to see. For a short time at least...

Ever the optimist Dave.
4000 rounds?
Drop a zero, maybe even two zeros.

Calling bull on the above already. Seen one ptw run past 4K rounds already with a dsg fitted.
Plus they have been out a while stateside with none of the meltdowns you all assume.
Its like anything when fitted and used sensibly they are fine, the horror stories are the folk who fit them badly then try run them on 14v lipos etc.

Re: Siegetek Dual Sector Gear for PTW?!?!?
I thought you'd have to send it to Tackleberry so he can do some voodoo spell on it to make it work?
there's not really anything to install incorrectly TBH... There's nothing inside a PTW gearbox to mess up... Maybe it just narrows the margin for error and increases the strain on the whole system and invites issues to occur...

Re: Siegetek Dual Sector Gear for PTW?!?!?
A few team mates have dsgs in their ptws, and gone past 4k rounds just, only got them recently, considering it for mine but wanting to wait and see what happens to theirs first before buying and installing.
on the installation front, ben has nailed it, none of my mates had any problems installing, you shouldn't do, the ptw gearbox system is p**s easy to work on

Damnit, why you do this. Making DSG's reliable, after I get my Recoil... Anyone after a Marui Recoil for Tw system? :P
