If it's anything like the Ashbury then VSR parts will probably still take a but of work to fit, best using VFCs own bits.

Maple leaf are making specific parts for this rifle but I don't know how reliable a company they are :L

Haven't tried it, mostly because of availability in my country, but i've heard nothing but good things about their line of upgrades for the KWA Vector, their hop rubbers in particular seem to be the go-to upgrade on the aforementioned platform.

I assume it's not as the VFC M40 has the magazine well in the correct place.

Yup, that's my conclusion too. The real McMillan stock is also too narrow for a traditional VSR trigger box, too - though I don't know if the VFC stock is wider or has a special trigger box like the PDI does.
