  • P226RKSC on Z1 - is it the new, all-metal version?

On the Z1 site, there's a P226R by KSC at £190 - is this the latest release from KSC and is it all-metal?

I've been told the trades are white but the pics show it just engraved.

The description mentions a 'safety catch'. A safety catch? On a P226? I take it they mean a de-cocking lever?

    Help appreciated,

    Thanks.

    Quite right, that's a de-cock and not a safety.

Having said that, if they've copied the KJW version that SigArms sell themselves, it will have a manual safety. The take-down lever is pushed from the right hand side of the frame and that engages it. The trades and grips look exactly like the ones on the SigArms site.

Thanks. I also understand it's only the plastic version.

      £190?....

I've spent a good while today searching and not come up with anything solid - does anyone know of a good review for the KSC Full-Metal P266? And maybe a UK supplier?

(Damn you posting that link - it's probably cost me even more money on stuff I don't really need! :D))

They've really got some nice stuff at SigArms.

I've had a go with the real steel P229 and after that I've been collecting SigArms kit. I've got one of their large range bags, which is big enough for all my bits and pieces needed for a day's skirmishing for 2 people, including tools, lunch, my boxed P229 (SigArms of course) and a loose MP7. I've also got one of the SigArms Law Enforcement training shirts that I picked up while working at the Defence Police College.

I'm hoping to get out there in the next year and have a run through some of their real steel training courses.

Did you have a look at the airsoft training videos?

I'm pretty sure the one on Z1 is the old version. If it is the system 7, they should be making some noise about it. Would probably be down as a new release as well. Z1s site seems to aim at the people who've never airsofted before. So they give ridiculously little useful information, for regulars like us.

It's the original NOT System 7.

What's System 7? I've never heard of it! is the latest KSC P226 (metal) System 7?
