New Marui Kit - Shizuoka Hobby Show 2010

A completely strange company TM, literally the world hangs on there every release yet, they absolutely don’t care two hoots about any market other than Japan.

Ones of those companies you wish would get brought out and get new management. If only they had the same drive as classic army.

So here we are that time again there once a year show visit, where they show there new releases.

This time a teaser picture.. No doubt released to the Japan market and its loyal fans have done the rest.

Time to play guess the what’s coming out game...



I’m thinking 1st is a high cycle m4, and the second from last is a SPR front end for the Sopmod m4 series.

As for everything in-between your guess is as good as mine.

Look's like they're brining out a GBB G18C

Walther PPK, and a 45 of somesorts. The two armalites could be anything! Though it does say SPR on the gun I suppose.

Classic Army are from HK, TM target the Japanese market because theat's their biggest market. They don't need to target what appeals to Europeans and Americans.
Personally - I like their new line up, 2 Armalites and a 1911, yum yum.

Thats just stating the obvious, What im talking about is company .. sales... I cant go into it in detail as im not allowed but trust me they NEED to focus on other markets, simply providing the products they have more to the foreign markets.

Interesting trades on the PP/PPK I wonder if they couldn't get a licence. (I have not seen a PP or PPK with a WAFFEN marking but would love to be proved wrong.)

TM are putting most of there efforts into high cycle, apprently it has more "appeal"

TM may not make many Armalites but along with every other company making a never ending flow of them it's pretty lame of a company like TM to do the same. It ask's that question who is cloning who nowdays.
