Id still rather have the classic M14 GBB than the EBR, but if I could sell a kidney on the black market Id buy both.

What are WE actually like though? Ive never used one of thier guns except when I briefly had to use a friends WE 5.1 hicappa, and I hated it... but thats purely hate for hicapas... And can you actually get hold of the GBB M14s in the UK yet? Ive only seen them in Americaland...

I have the WE M14 and it's awesome.

The new hop and barrel system (TM GBB style) is a massive improvement over my other 4 WE GBBr and it even outranges my TM M14 without losing any accuracy .

The recoil is also much harder than the armalites.

Be warned though mine is the standard M14 and it is very heavy (approx twice the weight of the TM) so with EBR kit I would expect it to weigh a ton

^ Really on the weight front? I thought it was CNC aluminium hence keeping the weight down?

Well mine is the standard not the EBR so it is heavy.

I can't see the EBR being lighter even with aluminium as the action/barrel assembly itself is a lot of the weight
