Older stock is my guess, as airsoft guns don't have a shelf life it is fairly safe to say there are a few warehouses full of older stock out there.

I doubt we will see many ACM products hitting the UK market, as most shops have now started buying the sportline series of various brands.

And when you can get a sportline G&G M4 withan 8mm gearbox for £115, why would you by a JG for £150...

As most of the companies that were china based have (as I understand it) moved to Hong Kong, their guns will now be more expensive, due to the tighter quality control.

All this is speculation by the way.

Indeed, although most JG are ABS like marui I think...now if JG did a masada without getting their ass kicked, I may be interested :D

In all fairness i would do too. As i bet the G&G plastic body would stand up to more than the pot metal JG body.

Same here, a friends JG M4 metal body cracked surprisingly easily when he knocked it against a tree

I dont think its just old stock as most of the HK shops get it straight from the company :S

In fairness ive had my Full metal JG M4A1 for a couple of years now. Have done nothing to it other than changing the hop rubber and added a Trigger Master mosfet and ive had no problems at all. Ive had no problems with the metal body and I treat my rifles quite rough. Maybe I got a one off but ive had no problems so far.

However, I would still choose G&G!

The problem with JG and dboys etc. is the lack of quality control, you may get a good one, but chances are you will get a dud.

However I have mainly heard good things about their G36c.
