      I'm pretty sure they are early hk416 prototypes! but I'm not positive

        excellent!! Will definitely be picking me up a CAR-15 (lovely carbine, the stock, handguards everything looks great imo)... still want to get a XM177 too, think I'll stick with the E1 version though. I can always pick up a E2 front set sometime in the future if I decide otherwise (or want to stick an M203 on the end of it)!!
