These have been in the UK since last August. I have heard good and bad reviews on them, i'd say the GR16 is better.

Depends on what you're looking for, the GR16 may be better internally but lacks a metal body. Then again my G&G lasted only a couple of months before I had to take the gearbox apart. Difficult to say.

I have an aps ak74---look on the reviews section.. They are a great bit of kit, but stock the internals a touch fragile. but when it all works its a very very good gun.

Re: A.P.S Blowback Series in the UK
the rifle is ok itself ,
the blowback and recoil system is pants though ,
powered by two batteries (ones used in m3 tac lights )
the unit is rubbish itself due to the propritery parts only made by APS
had a few at site last year, the guys were from the philipines , the gun performed great after new hop rubber and heavy ammo , but the gearbox blew later in the day and we had to send him home with it due to the parts not able to use stock v2 parts

Re: A.P.S Blowback Series in the UK
most of the gears are ok,, the are pretty strong in mine but the nozzle and hop are not standard and therefore a pain in the fundament to fix. if you do swap them out make sure you do both hop and nozzle together and you will need to be ready to file off a lug on the gearbox to make it all fit-- to be honest its probably not a bad idea to swap the gearbox out for say a cyma one.
