Not if you pack the piston.

Re: Sorbo impact kits.
right right.
coz takeing the amount of air thats inside the cylinder, and reduceing that amount, will result in loss of air behind the bb.
packing the piston or what ever. is going to put more strain on the gear box and resulting it the piston hitting harder due to the larger amount of weight.
makeing it pritty much what it was befor you wasted your money.
surely.

No, you need to do some research. Im not giving away all my secrets.
It will have much less damaging impact with sorbo.
I bet if most peoples aeg's were taken apart and you check the volume of air in the cylinder to the volume in the barrel. The majority would be well above the 1.5 (roughly) cylinder to barrel. At higher fps levels you need a much higher cylinder to barrel ratio. So it may make a difference but not isurmountable.
Do you not read the threads where a little fps makes little or no difference.

I'll give it a good going over, if you want it can be much quicker than mine, but you will have to let me tinker at my leisure.

In a way i dont mind the speed its at to be honest, its very fast, but playing woodland, im worried about accuraccy and range etc, but guess thats what my other aegs are for. The ak is merely a showpiece and a smile creator lol just get it running fine and reliably, ill be more than happy! Thanks Mark hope them bloody hong kongians get off their new years eve parties and send my bits lol

Re: Sorbo impact kits.
Sorbo pads and rebuilt.
I missed the fact that they are standard ratio gears and no fet. They are modified, but even so that is a decent turn of speed from the small 7.4v 1750 mAh 20C LiPo

Re: Sorbo impact kits.
the only way you'll tell mate, is to build the whole gun and fire it,
as will silence the rifle a hell of alot when the barrel is installed
