I found an article yesterday which said Magpul were waiting on ATF approval of GBB system from an Asian supplier before developing the GBB Masada but this date sometime last year

IF WE end up selling one , don't expect Magpul PTS to have any say in it

Agree, looks shit, get better blowback results on a normal AEG with a dildo switched on and strapped to the stock

The A&K Masada has been out for quite a while, really.

Hmm... Sort of happy I didn't sell my masada now.

I ment the Magpul not the A&K, nobody is going to manufacture high end upgrades for a clone

This ia all well and true. But with all the craze at the minute about fagpull and masadas. I would expect to see all the geardo's with one no matter how bad it is. RIFLE WITH WORK WITH OUT MAGPULL

Being honest, I like the Masada but would much prefer a GBB Massoud.
Still, I suppose if this does come out I'd be much more inclined to buy it than a AEG Masada. If I had my way there would be a whole lot more 7.62 GBB's than there is now :p

You are thinking of the old rubbish closed bolt system, which, as shown by the scar was terrible. The new open bolt series are incredible for the money you pay for them: $200 apiece for the g39c and scar open bolt

well the comments on the page say how it was done,what they used,so i think this is a que for someone to get to work,just like richardy speacialising in the sopmod,imagine if someone offered to do this service,what would you guys be willing to pay to have one converted to gbb?

I managed to find the article that I refered to before, see below.

We asked MAGPUL PTS about the gas conversion for the ACR as well. They do still intend to produce a gas conversion system that will fit existing ACR airsoft rifles, but they are waiting for the KWA LM4 to clear ATF before they pursue any engineering aspects of the conversion. This is in part because of the current ambiguity regarding gas blowback airsoft rifles, and in part because they want to test all the available options to decide on the best engine to base the ACR GBBR on.

Hmm, I don't think it sounds as metal as other GBBR's to be honest.
Also, did you notice his aimpoint was moving throughout the video? I couldn't stop watching it...

Haha Thought exactly the same :D Thought it was going to fly of its mount it was jigging around so much - thats what happens though if it's done via a custom job though, must also screw the internals up :P
