ICS M1 Garand?
14 March, 2011, 16:38
Just been browsing some other forums and it appears that ICS will be releasing an AEG M1 Garand this year- apparently in the summer.
Tried trawling through the engrish on the ICS webpage, but it's terrible...

Re: ICS M1 Garand?
ICS are doing a M3 grease gun as it is on show at the IWA show in Germany as seen in the video but i think what the guy said about it takes 'thompson' mags may point to them making a Thompson but I can't see them making a 8 shot rifle with masses of wooden furniture.

Re: ICS M1 Garand?
Airsoft International reckon that they are. It seems weird for an ICS to have that much wood, but if they pull it off well, all the better.

Re: ICS M1 Garand?
The ICS Galil ARM has wood. And the wood kit for the AK74 is nice.
Wooden M1 sounds eminently feasible, and something I'll definitely buy.

Re: ICS M1 Garand?
Their definitely making an M1, there was some confusion late last year early this year when it was thought to be an SMLE, but not herd any news as to wether it was gas or electric until now. hope it is electric, it can be used all year round at least.

Sounds like good stuff from ICS, if they can pull it off it should go down well. Can't beat a classic like an M1 Garand.

I fancy one of these, either to turn into a semi-DMR thingy, or just as a wall hanger.
If they get the wood as good as they get their internals, then it will be a great gun.

Re: ICS M1 Garand?
According to a mate who went along and had a chat with the folks there, the Garand will be an AEG.
A few pics courtesy of my mate.

If the K98 and Mosin in the pics are springers based off the APS or the VSR I am not too fussed.
