hybrid inner barrel?

anybody know anything about this?
due to be released in august, seen it on FB from an american shop.
don't know if im allowed to post a link to the fb page or the retailer, if i get the heads up ill post it.
its advertised as the *new* hybrid inner barrel
6.03 tighbore
aircraft aluminium?

more info on this would be much appreciated, i don't know anything about it atm lol.

also what does everybody think about this?

By hybrid they just mean they used two different metals to make the barrel.
Other tightbores might perform better than this imo

well i suppose the stainless steel and aluminium seems like a good combo, stainless steel for no rust and easy cleaning and the aircraft aluminium for like anti scratch

Those tolerances are shite. Wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot bargepole.

Just for an example. PDI's tolerance is ±0.002mm

With those tolerances it could be 6.05 for most of the barrel and only 6.03 at the end/start of it, completely defeating the point of a tightbore.

You have to remember, Airsoft is a relativly 'new' sport and inovation attracts attention and therefor money. Provided you can put forward a half decent explanation anyway.

Really we should wait untill someone has tried one befor we slag it off. Nothing worse than heresay.
