  • Zeta Labs MG42!

With zeta labs having just announced a shedload of new russian weapons (oc-14 groza, an-94 abakan etc) I knew my wallet was going to take a pounding. Then this morning I was linked to this little gem:

    http://gunsmithbaton.militaryblog.jp/e252917.html

    FETCH MY WALLET!

    google translate says:

"ZETA heard from the previous president, "MG42 next year (2012) The summer is about to complete the prototype, the year after next (2013) has 出Seru I think Al" face03 What is

Development and production costs of the MG42 will I hear myself, so not such a little amount can be easily prepared, then it should also be talking about different from proceeding. What is the story if I do not gotta worry about his financial condition of the ZETA-chan Why is everyone in a hurry, "A book yet? Co ゙ Raa" What I get in-depth, and you do not firefighter, is hard of (^_^"

Unfortunately this article also goes on to say that the ZB26 and Bren gun have been cancelled

I WANT ONE! Zeta labs made that Nagant, and are now working in partnership with Ares, so hopefully this won't sink into the seas of lost guns we've been promised. I'll just hope it's not too much, around the price of the Nagant would be nice (£320)

Up until last week this would have excited me, but since I got an Ultima MG42 recently, I'm so not bothered!! :p

I'll have a dig around and try to find a specific link, but for the most part they are only mentioned as plans, a PKM is also mentioned too!

i doubt this mg42 will ever make it to production, zeta labs are still humming and haring about making a bren or that crap czech zb support gun. agm were full of it a while ago with their mg42 and it never made it past the prototype.

Well, it's been about 5 years now we keep hearing an MG42 will be out by 'the end of the year' and we're still waiting. Someone's gotta do one soon though, they must realise with so many successful sales of WW2 weapons recently that there is a market for it??

This is my Ultima one. Well, it was an ultima! Pretty much all replaced internally, and new drum mag made from an origional.

You need to make a thread in the Pictures Of Your Guns section just for that, so we can all drool over it
