Right, so don't flame me for this!

I was told by a fellow airsofter at my last skirmish that the LLM-01 is soon to be phased out by the MOD in favour of something else. He didn't back up this claim with any evidence or tell me what this replacement would be so I remained skeptical although it's since stuck in my mind.

Can any of the bods in the services or otherwise back up his claim?

i havn't heard anything about that, as far as i was aware the LLM01 is part of the new FIST kit. can't see why they would change them as there is nothing wrong with them

There was an IBN released recently that had kit such as the LLM, the UGL targeting system, Eotech and spectre (aswell as a periscope!). Im sure if there was something new then it would have been on there but, alas, it wasnt.
