Ares M40A5 - VSR compatible quality stock

What do you guys think of this?
I'm so excited!

You can contact them and get the stock made from either cheap plastic or fibre glass like the real thing.
It's VSR compatible.
Will be released in a couple of months.
Looks awesome.

Doesn't look anywhere as nice as the Fortress stock for VSR's.
Only thing I like about that one is the correct mag placement

The Fortress stock was a POS, pretty expensive and could break in half easily.



I would buy this just to take stock and install it on a vsr or a Tanaka

The custom service they offer is that you give them any real steen stock and they fit it on their gun!
So it's the $200 plus the cost of the stock.
I have 3 Ares rifles so far (DSR1, M200 and WA2000) and I don't think this will be any good. It would be better to use the stock on another base gun.
Plus the mag system looks like the one in TM L96, it's tough to work with it.

I like it but agree it doesnt look as nice as the fortress version.

It does considering its $200 cheaper

I for one again will wait for the vsr compatable review , if %100 compatable (trigger hop ect ) then i will chuck £200 at it

Anyone heard any news on this? It appears to have just disappeared from the radar completely...

They said it was going to be released in the second quarter of 2012 initially...
