Classic Army XM177e2
18 June, 2012, 19:16
Hi guys,
Recently acquired this! - Previous owner gave it the weathered look which ive tidied up with some wire wool and im on the fence about it - i would prefer the real steel look but slightly unsure how to go about it :/ - some people have used vinegar, others have left it outside to oxidise, others have used a blow torch to darken the metal...
'blueing' has come up a few times with google searches... Black krylon isnt the option i want to go for either :/
Either way, any comments welcome and advice would be awesome! ( ignore that some bits are missing, im working on that :D - oh and thats Superglue on the outer barrel around the front sight, thats now gone )

Re: Classic Army XM177e2
well its certainly different! a little more tidying up around the magwell on both sides and i really like it
'It shockingly outranges many m16's and ak's. I have taped both mags together for added firepower and reliablity.'

Oh man I love the XM177...
I have the classic airsoft JAC XM177
The receiver is grey and I love that combination with the black handguard and stock.
