does look cracking. only reason I dont have one is the mags. I think soon they will be like gold dust.

im guessing they dont use a standard style V2 or V3 gear boxes too? well unless they are sencible and it feeds from the middle of the mag? not the front like a 5.56 mag.

I hope they release the mags soon. Hopefully they will be easy to get hold of.

I field tested it and she was running at 360 fps. It kinda reminded me of a Tokyo Marui M14 out of the box.

Far as I know it is a V2.1 VFC custom gear box. The hop unit is barrel style like a G36.

I thinking of getting a 6"/9" bench rest Harris bipod and thats it.

I wish the PMAGs would fit. The HK417 mags are slightly bigger. Trying to get the right pouches was a pain. I bought a LBT 2x shingle. I know the Aussie's use the HK417 now, and the Australian tactical nylon company SORD make pouches too.

I saw on German sites had the Mid caps, but have sold out.

The long barrel came with my Hurricane HK416 kit. Not sure whether to buy a longer inner barrel and make it a permanent feature.
