Slide and barrel. Seems it's the only option right now so can't blame him for spending his cash.. I've been tempted but was waiting for the 5"pro!

Performance wise it makes the M&P kick harder but slower. One thing to look after is a 120% or 140% recoil spring to make it cycle quicker again, with that gas efficiency will drop a bit.

This slide is made in Korea, CNC machining and paint are spotless. They've designed and produced it in less than one month up on the Marui M&P's release. And pricing is not bad when you compare to some Hi-Capa bits.

Well, the PGC/ProWin's slide and barrel and frame too, obviously. I agree with him that they've brought it to market quite quickly (whereas even the E² P226 has been around for a couple of years), and of course it is his money, not mine. Detonator's stuff is nice, but they have a reputation for fragile paint, which is a problem if you have laser-engraved trademarks and therefore can't readily repaint.

That said, even the Ace1Arms slides are $170ish and those are supposed to be really pretty bad in terms of fit and finish.

To be honest im with you it is a little more than I think logically I can justify.. But having said that I do really need a pro series m&p! There are already reports of the paint rubbing off the chamber though!

i really hope someone will make a dummy thumb safety for the WE and VFC m&p, the thumb safety on the marui just makes all other look very bad

But why would they? Most people prefer the lack of it and remove it from the TM. And it's still accurate to the RS firearm.. More commonly found too..
