Support Weapon Thread
8 February, 2013, 16:28
Had a look and a search and couldn't find one so thought I'd start it (if I'm mistaken please merge or do what you mods do!)
Anyway my newly acquired M249, going to model it more off the MK.46 but with a few alterations..
Still need a few bits for it, like a PEQ-2, bipod inert ammo and I'm sure many other things will come to mind!

Well I haven't skirmished it yet.. but it is quite heavy, definitely a set up in a position type weapon although with the para stock its not too hard to run with. Its got quite a nice rate of fire, not too fast so it works well with sustained rate of fire! Looking forward to defending with it!
The fact you can use 5.56 mags is a big plus, all ym mids work in it so I think for assaulting I might use them until I can get a nutsack mag which are about as common as unicorn poo!

Cheers, yea I'm used to my fairly light Masada and playing a quick game.. I'll probably try and do that with the M249 but my arms will probably kill me!!

Re: Support Weapon Thread
Haha! Well I traded the Masada for this so I'm down to either a M3 shotgun or 6" colt python for quick or CQB situations

Re: Support Weapon Thread
I doubt those brownings are airsoft but if they are, do I have your permission to throw money at you so I can have one?

Winston (getting unsteadily to his feet): "Madam, if I were your husband ... I'd drink it."
