MP5 Owners Club
11 May, 2013, 17:02
With the distinct lack of unity or ease of communication between MP5 users I have created the
MP5 Owners Club
and would like to invite all MP5 owners to join :D.
To kick it all off I'd first like to ask can an RIS system, that replaces the standard "A" series handguard, accommodate a small type battery (8.4 or 9.6, non-lipo).
Cheers
Alastair

Thank you
but the SD rail system has a lot more space than the standard rail system for batteries, are you sure one will fit under the tighter rail system?

Re: MP5 Owners Club
Howdy!
Great idea for the thread! This is mine: Classic Army B&T MP5a5
Sadly on its first outing, the selector switch sheared down its pillar within the gearbox leaving me to store it for now
everywhere is out of stock and so I'm desperately seeking the A2/A3 SEF lower as I'm aware it's far better.
Either way, great gun.

Re: MP5 Owners Club
Marui MP5 RAS Handrail can fit a 9.6v mini 1600mah battery if you dremel off the little supports above the screw inside the handguard (they are completely removed).
You could probably file it as well but that may take a hell of a time, given you can't get a file in.

Andy, I want that fore-end! I have one for my TM High Cycle, but need one for my "matching" CA MP5.

Re: MP5 Owners Club
Actually it's not that strong as the Escort MP5 but the cycling is very smooth and the trigger is very light! Externally the body is steel and very solid!
I haven't use it much ... But I plan to use it regularly in the summer.

Re: MP5 Owners Club
VFC MP5A2, power restricted to average 280fps, Azimuth loading nozzle fitted as the original didn't make it past the second mag.
The flashlight grip is a Laser Devices Inc. real steel with active kill switch.
I got the grip for next to nothing but it costs as much as the gun - I did want a legit surefire but everybody has one and I 'd never seen one of these in all my years doing this so I'm proud to be different.
The mag is a real H&K and it fits the magwell with no modification so It's a great prop .
