L110A1 build

To start with i used an A&K M249 Para. I added the Mrk1 M249 hand guard,a 2" barrel extention & a Kings Arms BE Myers 5.56 Flash Hider,CA Hop unit. I bought an AD Classic Metal Feed Tray Cover,filled in the holes where the rear sight screws into before drilling 3 new holes to accept a G&G SUSAT Sight rail.This is how i wanted my gun to look.

This is the picture which made me decide on fitting my ACOG.

But this picture shows the riser on the opposite way from normal which is how i've chosen to mount mine.

I always intended painting my L110 since it was ordered that all guns in theatre be painted. The result looks like this....



I'm quite pleased with the results. Next to do is some work on shimming the internals so it will continue to work as good as it looks.
