been jumping up and down waiting for this to arrive

battery looks a bit obvious though and that is a vp 1300mah split lipo, which is a tight squeeze, not sure how much thinner they make them?

how easy would it be to rear wire it so that a battery could go in the space where the spring is?

without taking it apart i'm not sure, but i doubt it would ba a hard job. i have some 300 mah packs, that would probably sit within the spring that is in the back, although might need a small spacer so the wire gets within the spring....

you need the spring in there, or the stock wont fold, as you push the cap down to release the lugs on the stock

yeah, was just a quick phone vid, but it does sound nice, good rate of fire too, i might have to look into a burst wizard at some point too for semi only games....

just bought some mini deans connectors, as it comes wired to them, but i chopped it off as i dont have any, and wired it to normal deans, but they are a bit big for the space really.

i should have ordered the action 7.4 battery with it, ah well

how does the mag compare to a MP5 mag? do you think it's possible to fit a MP5 midcap internals inside the sterling mag?

i don't have any mags myself, but i would say the top feed section looks identical. seem to have already lost the follower pusher part out of one mag lol. heres some pics. the pin is a bit on the tight side, i might knock it out later but can't be bothered atm, why do you want to know if they fit? for spares?

Don't suppose your Sunday trip will be at The Outpost ? If so will bring a spare MP5 mag with me if you want to see if it fits (outside of the sterling mag)

That's just superb Bob, I'm green with envy, lol, as for the battery, just paint it, it'll look great, can I be a bit nosey, and ask how much it was..
"This is my rifle, it's just a toy one, there are many like it, they're toy ones too, without it, i'm £250 better off, without me, it gathers dust in the corner, we're just big boys playing soldiers, lets try and remember that" play fair have fun.

                              Re: Action Sterling L2A3 MK4

I'm toying with getting one of these and I was asking about the mags as I run a TW5 which has 40 round mags which can be a pain at times. I'm thinking that if the internals of a MP5 mag can fit inside the sterling mag shell then I'll mod some mags to be 90 or 110 midcaps. I might even try a few highcaps.
As for the battery I think I'd try to rear wire it and then when fitting a battery I'd have a piece of foam between the battery and the end cap and try to fit the spring or something similar between the foam and the end cap.
I'd probably fit a mosfet, probably something by AB, and I might wait until the V2 arrives as this might have a working safety.
