I like it a lot, and have never even fired it yet so can't wait till my deans battery arrives

I was thinking about going sniper with it, but i would need a much longer barrel (possibly more than 500mm) and it just isn't stable (the silencer) as the adaptor isn't long enough to support it, so it would need to be stabilised at the end of the silencer, and ideally all through the silencer, but that would be difficult, especially with my very limited technical ability with it, so it would also cost a lot to get done.

what do you think?

EDIT: I was also thinking about one of those silver-back total bipods (grip pod things), but the gad block is facing upwards so i would have to secure to the nub, which that doesn't do i don't think.

I think it's really funny, that when I put pictures up of the DMR after finishing it, no-one really noticed it AT ALL. Then when you put up pictures of it, everyone falls in love with it! Where is my credit here?!

The new receiver does make it look a lot better actually, and I bet it will run pretty sweet with those new Systema Parts...

BTW- I THINK (don't hold me to this) that you may be able to get a longer barrel from KA if you can find there contact details. If you say it's a replacement part, I'm sure you'd be able to get one from them.

It's got deans just poking out the back where the wires used to come out, put it's more like a plug socket now so you can barely even see the wires, just a deans female "socket."

I wouldn't really know which way to go with getting the longer barrel (do you mean longer outer barrel (the fluted end bit, or whole thing)) because they do them but i think maybe the longer ones have a different foregrip area, so it might not be compatible.

I'm talking about the outer barrel - and yes I know they do longer one's, that's what I'm saying, lol. But instead of buying the whole thing, get in touch with KA specifically and ask for a one of the longer fluted barrels, I'm pretty sure they are compatible with the shorted hand-guard. If you look at how it goes together, I don't see any reason why it shouldn't.
