It just clips on like the regular handgaurd.

Well, yeah hah - but just asking because i've heard stories of having to adjust it slightly so it fits snug.

Fit very snuggly straight out the pack. You have to prise it apart just slightly in order to get it to fit over the barrel but no actual modification was necessary, luckily!

i had one of those handguards on my ICS, even with my big hands it was a bit awkward having to position my fingers to press the pad to make it light up,i have the one where you press on one end to get the white light and move down and press another section for the blue light...its all well and good in my bedroom,but under the heat of battle..forget about it....lol..give me a tac light with an on/off button at the end...

I noticed that actually... although mine seems to have an accidental solution... if I leave it half a turn unscrewed I can use the PTM fine and dandy...but if I screw it in all the way, permanent on! Perfect! :P Might just leave it like this instead of trying to figure out where the short is!
