  • Re: Pictures Of Your Guns

Alfer and Tallbloke, what the f*** makes you think I was slating the site? If you think something like that, then PM me rather than going off half-cocked and giving me a flaming for something that was not my intention. If a site allows high fps guns to regulars, considering the individual terrain etc of the site, who am I to complain. If the original thread had still been up (and yes, I did look for it before posting the first time to double check my info), then you´d see I wasn´t one of the people who were attacking the idea. I was quite serious that a gun running those sort of levels needs a big site to be used at it´s best and, as the last time I heard it mentioned specifically the rock was allowing them, this was a serious suggestion intended to give the gun a proper run out. As far as the if the site is still open comment, I wasn´t sure as there have been comments on here saying it may be closing.

Back on topic, very nice photo andy.

    • Aimpoint magnifier landed today. Well chuffed with it.

All that remains now is a QD stud for my Harris bipod and maybe a Gasblock.

And of corse, need more OD paint for the Grip and maybe the rubber shell on the magnifier.... I like OD :D

Pachmayr American Legend grips, on my We 1911A1

Pistol also has a PDI 6.01 barrel and a Laylax Nineball hop rubber. Very accurate

Cheers mate. Unfortunately i only have a 10m garden. But with green gas and .30g bb's i was hitting the target with 2cm grouping (in light wind). Where as before the barrel and hop rubber it was more like a 2 inch grouping. Unsure on what fps it's at but i'd suspect around about the 300 mark on .2's so pretty respectable. I'll post some better results after my next skirmish.

classic syle m4 stock, bit of tape round the pistol grip and it could pass for an l119a1

At which point I would mount my ride, which is a donkey called Akbar, and charge off into the enemy, lighting the grenades as I go

I did have it setup as a 16" L119a1 for a while but prefer my seal shooters... Thanks for the comments though
