I kinda like the look, so its staying on for the mean time I've had a rough replica of the KAC g36 flash hider custom made for me, but the measurements where off so I cut it down which means it doesn't have a thread, I'm gonna straighten it out and a mate is gonna help me thread it. Should look cool, hopefully.

This might not be totally related to the thread, but thought I'd put it up anyway...

Now, I have no problem with stuff in cardboard boxes, but I draw your attention to the bottom of the pic.
Having blown myself up once and had a 5 minute smoke go off in a pouch, i notice the un capped MK v in the box, with 2 more in close proximity.
These do have a tendancy of igniting when you least expect it. Make a mess of any batteries close by.
I'd be keeping your pyro seperate, or at least tape a cap on the capless one.
              BOOM!!!!!!
              I'll say no more.......

Cheers Glock, not had chance to skirmish yet as literaly just got the 203. It doesn't feel too bad but in the kitchen for 2 mins is a bit different to a skirmish.
The plan WAS to not have it attached all the time but it's looking kinda nice and menacing at the moment. If it does get heavy over the course of a day it's only a couple of thumb screws to remove.
Just need Xmas out the way so the darn grenades i ordered arrive and I can actually try it out.

Disagree, and suggest storing petrol in the box as well so you can fuel your car more easily.

Hehe, thanks for pointing that out I honestly hadn't realised the cap was off.

I normally store them in a completely separate box.

And I too have had an instance of 10 Mk.5's going off in my pouch all at the same time. Although I didn't get the vest off in time, I didn't manage to get a burn so that was good. Chinese made 3 way pouch saved my leg.

Anyway, the only reason I store them in a box is for practicality reasons - I normally have airsoft stuff all over the place - room, garage, even on top of the fridge, but having all the batteries in one place is handy, and tidy.

I'm liking it so far, just need to change the scope and most probably lose the carry handle.
I'm not trying to replicate a real gun just trying to be a bit individual and have a whole heap of fun. Mission acomplished so far. :D:D:D
