the peq is a g&p peq 2 with a 45mw IR laser diode (dropped down to about 15mw) and a 5W IR LED for illumination... the peq cost about £160 to build

and yeah its an IR filter on the front of the surefire... even i refuse to pay £100 for something that is going to break after 2 direct hits.... a coke bottle, glue, photo negatives, and tape do the job just as well

Keep the MP5's plain apart from a small red dot.

ConsS..... What's is the Pistol grip, stock and rail covers? (Make/ Name wise?)

The pistol grip is made by Command Arms Accessories, can't remember the name but I'm sure you find it with google. The stock is Ino but there is CAA (same as the pistol grip) rubberized stock saddle installed. Rail covers are UTG/Leapers.

very nice hellfish.
that settles it, i'm getting a tan SCAR to go with my multicam, not a black one. although it will have a few black bits on it: eotech, m203, magazines.
i like how nicely the brown electrical tape compliments it. it's the little things that make the difference :p there's a few silvery/grey bits on the SCAR that i'd like to cover up when i get one.
is the tape there for show, or does some of it serve a practical purpose?

I drilled a hole in the stock tube so that the wiring runs down inside the stock tube to the battery bag on the stock.....the tape covers up the wire as it exits the receiver and sneaks into the stock tube, while the front bit of tape hides the slightly overlong gas tube that I havn't got round to cropping down to size yet.....

Was going to use black tape but had run out at the time I put the AEG together....and now that you mention it the brown stuff does look alright
