mj23lj - I built it, mate, with a bit of help from a team mate, who fixed the internals for me.

I used an old M4 type rifle as a donor rifle (can't remember the make. probably TM). Got a metal body from an overseas airsoft retailer (obviously fourm rules prevent me giving the name here. Some one must be scared of competition! lol). It came already stamped up with the L119 markings.

The barrel was from the same overseas retailer. It's in 3 pieces so you can have either a CQB variant or the full length. The third piece is the collar behind the flash eliminator.

The pistol grip and butt pad are gaurder ones.

The ACOG is G+P

It's front wired at the moment, but I'm gonna get it wired to the back and setup for lipo batteries. Eventually.

Still a bit of work needed, but it's ready to use now.

Gen. Melchett - If I was you I'd be VERY proud (I'm half Canadian, lol). But asides from that you've done a great job, It really does resemble and truly belongs in the C8 family.

I think a closed/short stock CQB variant would work well, I don't remember the model numbers at all, but you could probably find some pictures of real steel ones to copy on google. If you have the time would you mind PM'ing me where you got the lower half/body at some point, thanks.
