Lol. I'd call it a G3 carbine too (H&K call it the 'HK51'), but I added that line in reference to that ridiculous 'how do you define a sub machine gun' thread that I started which then got out of hand.

As for the colouring, the one in my sig was taken in natural light, but I actually preferred the darker greens that came out from the indoors one here.

You take the picture in the shade as apposed to taking it with the sun directly beaming on it, or wait for a bright day then take a picture when the sun is blocked by the clouds.

I've had the '47 a while, the '25 is recent. When I first had the '47 I spent a while trying different front ends, stocks & sights until it felt "right". I think I feel the need to be doing the same again with the '25 - if only for the fun of doing it
