One of the advantages of being married and not living with your parents:

Not only did I have to get a cabinet for my growing collection, my wife helped carry it up to my office! Now all I need to do is make a rack to go in it and a couple of pistol display stands and I'll be happy (till my M4 S-System arrives).

rockinrobin sometimes its easier to buy guitar stage stands and slot one of them in for your rifles

I've already dug out some MDF which will slot into the clips for the glass shelves I took out.

Black felt glued onto the MDF, with correctly shaped slots cut into it, and non-slip matting on the bottom.

Yeah, the MG42 is not a manufactured make, is one imported from Germany, been guttet and had a gearbox put in.

The drum mag hold 1000 rounds, so that provides plenty of fire.

Cost me £670 including postage, and weighs just under 12KG
