@R34V3R - What's in there at the moment is the G&G high cap' the AEG came with, which is a good inch or so longer than the CA/Mag mid's I plan on using which sit in line with the vertical grip. Going prone with the G&G mag' was terribad, and as uncomfortable as buggery, but thankfully the CA/Mag ones were far easier to use.

I'm considering picking up a bi-pod and an M3 replica scope for those lazy days. I'll invest in some VN mag's when the time comes, but the wallet needs some TLC before I can purchase those!

thought that mag looked a bit long.....

i can sympathise with the wallet tlc, mines the same (just starting to get decent skirmish kit together again!), but long armalites like that, to me anyway, look better with vn mags....

In the set up there, I would take the M4, simply because the '80 looks awful without the susat. But in terms of function, SA80 all the way!

il agree it looks better with the susat, but i've never been a big fan of bullpup layouts.....

used to have a star sa80, it quickly made its way into a box, forgotten about, then taken apart for a project, then sold.
