the original was pretty much a solid piece (almost like pipe insulation...)
the sound is trapped in the lower density foam rather than coming out of the end

The jae100 stock has a front mount for a sling loop. But none for the rear. So it's probably going to be a no. However i think an M16 sling that goes over the stock will fit. I plan to get another bolt action so the custom leather sling will come in handy for that
