the bolt for the body pin got lost by a mate so i just stuck a normal bolt and washer on it

Always good to see someone who appreciates the XM8. Quick question, how did you get the red dot scope to work on it, as i thought the GWS kits just had a dummy scope?

That XM8 looks better than I remember. Good photo's. Fitting the red dot sight, took about an hours cutting and filing. It was a king arms one, I butchered the original casing to fit. Nothing quite as fun as taking a metal file to £200 worth of thin plastic.

It was masterful work on your behalf.
I was lucky when I took the photos, as it was a good time of day and the light was perfect, and so I didn't have to ruin the picture with an awful flash.
