Need help with CM16 barrel transformation

Hello guys
I've got an already custom CM16 here which started off as a CM16 Carbine. This is it here:

Now, I want a specific look with a new suppressor. I want it so you can't see the outer barrel, and it just looks as if there is only a suppressor, like this:

I can only seem to find one over barrel suppressor, but I was just wondering if there was a way to get a normal suppressor to look like that.
Now, the obvious way would be to find a barrel which would perfectly fit the handguard with only the threaded end coming out of it. However, I've got no clue what size barrel I need. The handguard is about 6.5 inches in length. Can somebody help me find a barrel which would perfectly fit it? I don't know how airsoft barrels are measured (whether it includes the threaded end, or if it includes the bit which goes in the gun, or if not). But yeah, I'd appreciate it if anyone could track down a suitable barrel, or offer an alternative method

take the cap off one end and thread the barrel through

What do you mean, take a cap off the suppressor?
I wasn't looking to use the one in the picture, I want this one:

That was a good idea, tried it with the suppressor in the picture and it pretty much works. Would it also work with the suppressor I linked?

Ah didn't know this forum was so uptight about links, oh well. Thanks for the tip about taking the cap off and threading it through
