Re: 1911s + Variants
It's not a one-off, and it does have solid-steel on-frame rails:
However, it is £1,200 before shipping and import duties, so you expect certain improvements.

Re: 1911s + Variants
Pains me how few different 1911 options there are. I know there's a million different ones, but they're all the same length. It's usually only the trades that are different

Re: 1911s + Variants
It's not one off but a very limited production run, only 20 will be make, the retail price is $2020 plus shipping!
Very solid, pretty hefty and has some issues you don't expect to find on a $2000+ gun!
Anyway it's a nice addition to my collection, currently I have 3 full metal SFA V10's!!

Re: 1911s + Variants
How is your sig Pure?
Looking to maybe spend more money I don't have, on another steel pistol I don't need! Starting to sway toward a ratech hicapa for the co2-ness and non crap rails the ino and ra 1911s use. Really want a 1911 but not with pot metal rails for $1100
For the price of these pistols you would think they would be free of issues...
Western arms pistol parts needed please pm me
Any Full Metal WA pistols? Sell me them!!

Re: 1911s + Variants
The SIG is good! It functions well with the KJW CO
2
magazines; the kick is absolutely brutal - seriously, it's a challenge to hold on to the gun. For steel, I'd recommend looking at the VFC/Stark Arms steel GLOCK 17 and 19 that have just been released. They're surprisingly affordable and they operate extremely well, apparently. The 19 looks a bit stupid with the extended CO
2
magazine, but the 17 looks excellent.

Army Works MEU and 2 TM 1911a1s, gotta love em!
Mother of pearl grips enlayed into wood and a big arse compensator for the why not factor!
Purple heart grips and genuine pachmayr signature grips
Danke to RedHawk for the photography

DSCF6123 (3) (1280x960).jpg
Started off as a TM series 70
silverback laser grips
TM Night warrior hammer
re-profiled grip safety tail (to allow the hammer to work
I think it needs a new trigger, but apart from that I like where it is.
My aim is to make it a sort of “tactical concealment” pistol. something that would look just as much at home on the hip of a plainclothes detective as it would in the holster of a special forces door kicker.
Not actually a builder
Not actually called Bob.

Re: 1911s + Variants
........Very nice indeed. Never seen one of those before. Are they still available?
I'm guessing they cost an arm and leg?
