Western Arms Para Ordnance P14-45 "Para X"
PGC frame & SD slide fitted, along with hogue grips.
The slide could do with a polish on the sides, had this a while.

Re: 1911s + Variants
How are you all using metal slides? My stock-ish tm meu needs summer weathered run properly, and guarder kitted 1911 is incredibly inefficient even in summer. Are these more showpieces?
Still considering metal slide for meu but think it may throw performance out the window

Re: 1911s + Variants
They need fitting properly, then they'll run any gas within reason all year round.
A well fitted slide will not need any upgraded internal parts at all, the gun will run fine on it's standard springs & valves.
My all cycle 134a fine up to nuprol 4.0 & some Guarder power up gas.
If a standard gun like a TM is used on higher pressure gas it becomes structurally & internally weakened & will require it's use.

In fact, those are the standard grips, my mistake.

Prime WA Rtype based Kimber LAPD SWAT Custom II
I got this gun with missing parts and in non working condition.
I found the needed parts in my spares bin but the gun had a weird issue.
I sorted it and now works flawlessly!
Now I will deal with the cosmetic issues..

Re: 1911s + Variants
I got this gun from a friend in France it's really a super awesome gun.
Very rare piece and has lots of small details... I kinda miss the old days.
Newer kits are nowhere near as nice as this one.

This is my favourite sidearm in my collection.
Brass Prime Colt Gold Cup National Match
I just gave it a good polish and the shine came back.

Re: 1911s + Variants
Man, these are making mt stock TM 1911 look so boring. Wish mine had a rail for a flashlight - what's the best way to do this?

Re: 1911s + Variants
Buy a TM night/Desert Warrior those have a rail from factory.
I think there was a rail you could add but I don't remember how it was called.
And the final option is to buy a complete metal kit w/rail.
