Yeah after a few hundred swear words =/
I had to tightly wrap some duct tape around the thread , Then super glue some thin plastic on top of the duct tape which is pretty solid
Then i just covered the rest of the plastic in super glue and jammed it into the outer barrel =/
Works fine tho

And with the normal slide but with a hi capa twist barrel on it.

It sucks that the detonics frame is 5mm too short to cover the back of the recoil spring plug =/
I need to see if I can find pictures of my Wilson Combat but I think I'll do a before/after/after after collection =P

My old 1911, TM based, metal body, some stuff done to the internals (Don't ask, i didn't do the work).
Worked well in all weather, and like a fool, i sold her......
Not the prettiest 1911 on here, but then looks aren't everything!
