Yeah , just a little 7.4 , 1200mah lipo , it's a bit of a squeeze fitting anything larger in there as I've got a mosfet stuffed in the stocktube aswell.
same here, might get a little lipo to experiment with...

So I'm curious about the Aimpoint mount you have here. Does it raise your aimpoint enough for the reticle to clear the front sight? Can you get a lower 1/3 co-witness with it?

What's a lower 1/3 co-witness? And I've got it on a cantilever mount and the red dot clears the front sight post with it.

Re: Colt M4 & Variants
Cool, as long as it is above the front sight, it's all gravy
Lower 1/3 co-witness is basically this:
Your optic is at such a height that when you look through your irons, the dot lines up with the iron sights, but in the bottom 1/3 of the optic window. This means you can look over your irons to see straight through the middle of your optic and have your dot raise clear of the irons too.
It's classic airsoft-irrelevant real-gun nerdery but I think it's cool to have. >.>
EDIT: Oh and it makes zeroing red dots easier, all you do is zero your irons, leave them forever and just line up the red dot with the irons every time you attach a red dot optic.

Re: Colt M4 & Variants
it's a random image i got off google, so I'm going to guess it's from a real gun. :I
(I'm waiting on the delivery of my G&G GR16 M4 in the next day or three so I'll hopefully be able to contribute my own pictures soon.)
In the meantime, one of my earlier guns (now sold :'] )

Re: Colt M4 & Variants
That's a mental looking magazine.
In regards to the lower co-witness I'm not sure to be honest. As the red dot sight rides high you would need a higher rear sight for it to work. About the same height of the M4 carry handle rear sight I imagine. Not sure if they make them that high.
