If you want to keep it relatively small, go for a 10.5" or 11.5" barrel, if you want it M4A1 length go for a 14.5" barrel.

I think it'd look fantastic with an 11.5" barrel personally

To be fair i only want another inch of the sound hog showing. i beleive its got a seven inch barrel in there. can you get 8-9 inchers in silver?

I think you may be able to, I've only seen many varying sizes on HK sites, so I'm sure if you had a look at one of the larger retailers there you could probably find what you're looking for.

Dytac do some nice silver barrels, although I've only seen 10.5" and 14.5" barrels myself.

The Recce is taking form, still need the god damn awesome looking troy battlesights and a huge prometheus inner barrel.

My M16 woodland backup is now externally completed, took lots of dremeling but it's solid as a rock! Internally JG (CA GB and speed parts on the way), Dboys metal body, G&P LaRue RIS. Not sure if the VN mags go with the modern RIS but I like it, so I don't care! All in, including 2 x 8.4v 3300mah batts and 6 VN hicaps it owes me about £80 max!

Nitro I reckon that looks gorgeous. I'm running a Larue 7" on my M4 and for some reason they've got the "it" factor for me. Looks brilliant with the VN mags, so have no fear.

So is it all G&P externals?

Nah,I think it's JG stock, GB, metal barrel and pistol grip, Dboys metal body (I'm actually a fan of these), Dboys carry handle and the RIS is either G&P or Dboys I guess? Lovely RIS, feels like aluminium due to it being so strong yet light!

I'm loving the simple look in contrast to my pimped M4 CQB
