My latest: CYMA RPK
Rubbed down and restrained the wood and ruffed up the metal work. Just got the replace the charging handle as it has snapped off which is gonna be a challenge.

Stock wood colour on that or have you worked it? If it's stock that's not bad at all! Gagging for the Cyma SVD-S to be released myself!

Re: Kalashnikovs
Doesn't look to shabby at all.
My beaten up AK next to its daddy!
The fake wood on the AK certainly shows itself up as sh1t when next to real wood. Even my stair bannister looks better!

Re: Kalashnikovs
The bipod is ok but I'm not sure what the weight of the Cyma SVD is like.
The RS one is a bitch to hold at the shoulder due to its weight and prone shooting with the weight was uncomfortable.

I've been carrying my RS SVD around woodland sites for over 8 months now with no problem. Probably helps if you lift though. You need to be at least bearmode to qualify as an RS SVD master race-man.

Re: Kalashnikovs
It's not so bad now I'm used to it, going from a lightweight M4 platform to this was a bit of a shock on the support arm at first.
I do think the bipod helps with prone shooting.

Yeah you do get used to it, the first game I used it my arms certainly did ache. I find a nice pile of dirt I can rest the handguard on and use both hands for a steadier shot. It means my profile is lower along the pile of dirt as opposed to using a bipod on top of it.

Now fully battered up.
Closer look at the foregrip.

Re: Kalashnikovs
I've had the RS Svd for a while now and since I've been using M14 variants for a while I find the SVD, while long, a nice steady platform - saying that, holding it outstretched for long periods would not do my back any good :-D
As for AK's.......

Re: Kalashnikovs
Haha, awsome.
Oooh... Locally.. Nowhere to be found. Allegro would be the best bet.
get it
Also, that Beryl - is that the Ares ready made version or did you modify a 74 to get yours done? It looks real nice - i was considering making one myself, but the conversion seems like a pain in the arse.
