Re: Kalashnikovs
AKs should always be kept simple!
VFC AKS-74 with real steel bakelite mag and bayonet (just for show obviously)
REAL Sword Type 56-1 (Ok, not a Kalashnikov technically, but hey...)

I got the kit from the banned shop mate, it took ait of modification but i have to use a lyop with it now because nothing else will fit. But i think it has made it even more responsive.
i dont know what it is about those romanian foregrips but damn it, they looks nice. totally worth the modification

Re: Kalashnikovs
Thought i'd chip in as an AK fan:
CYMA AK47 w/ AIM kit, custom fitted (with much toil)
Wood was redone personally, weathering done personally.
RPK project in the pipeline!

, is really nicley done! Loving the old skool bakelite mag and bayonet combo, glad to see you took the effort to source the proper styles/types for the era. Nothing like a good early '74

Re: Kalashnikovs
i don't own these no more, but heres my old Beta's...
full wood kit, for a beta, cost a bomb back then, about 3 or 4 years ago now, but i see cyma make one for under £150 now!
very early AEG of mine, TM, maybe 3rd or 4th gun i ever owned.
JG Krink, loved that gun, and that was my standard CQB Loadout of the time.
this started life as a krink, then got a folding stock and SVD fore grip added and it became this...
and with full stock...

Thanks
I do like the newer AKs but nothing beats wood and I'm a big fan of the bakelite mags, unfortunately the airsoft ones you buy just don't look the part

Re: Kalashnikovs
TM AK47 started off as an S changed to full metal body with real wood kit and a GP-30 because you can never look evil enough
Currently working on an RPK project only a few small bits left to get and eventually replace body with a metal one.

Re: Kalashnikovs
Rpk's are too cool...
but until they make a gbb version im not going near one.. an rpk is all about the sound and an aeg just doesnt do it justice...
Prepare for the worst, but expect the best.
