Im afraid to say, unless google has utterly failed, the WA SV doesnt exist in real life either..
No concrete evidence but theres small hints around, click the link then click the link to the official svi website; theres a small computer image to the right which has a picture of what looks alot like a wa sv.

EDIT: Bugger - Ninja'd
Yes and over $4000 for a basic gun, if you guys ever play at EBZ talk to John who runs it I know he used to own atleast 1 when he used to shoot in comps
As my 1st time at bexley he asked to hold my WV SV when he saw it and said "oh I used to have a real one" and I replied "Really ? but that would have set you back around 6k?"
He said "yep and after the handgun law changed I had to hand it in"
That had to sting....................

Re: Hi.Capa's
14 rounds double stacked, so still far from the 30 rounds that was mentioned, and they are still uber custom only made to order by the looks of it for practical shooting.
Nice spot there but still the WA isnt a real pistol. Nor the Hicapa.

Ermm SV`s are real mate
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strayer_Voigt_Inc
and the second like is for svi infinity firearms
http://www.sviguns.com/
So a normal 1911 mag holds 7 rounds an sv double stack holds 14 plus one in the chamber if you that way inclined so the longer mag`s must be anything from 30 to 50 rounds.
Why carry a 9mm when you can have a hand canon with almost the fire power of a Thompson in you belt ? I would argue that a hi capa could be argued to now be a variant of either an sv pistol or a colt 2011
In sticking with the tread here are some pics of my broken hi capa hope I can get it fixed very soon and get pic`s up of it and my SV
And this is a work of art not my thing personally but really nice nether the less
http://www.sviguns.com/pistols/Dunn2.jpg
Im not denying SV itself, but what you described, 30 rounds, 100m range etc etc is pish.
SV are custom made for practical shooting and looking mega pimp, they normally use 14 round double stackers rather than 7 rounds.

Re: Hi.Capa's
Yes I said wa as my airsoft rep is made by WA is your glock made by glock ??
and last time I counted most airsoft glock mags hold a bit over a realistic number too ?
but you can have an extra long mag made for an SV if you have around $1000 to spend and live in a country where such a thing is legal. I think double stack mags are illegal in most of the usa too.
So unless glock made your glock I don`t see how telling me that WA is not a real pistol ?
I have known about SV`s for years before I even brought my 1st wa sv witch I brought to retire my ksc 18c a great pistol that a friend of mine still uses I just like .45`s more.
I`d always assumed a hi capa was just TM being too cheap to pay SV infinity to use their trades on their replica ?
Hence why a WA SV was around 2 to 3 times the price of most tm guns back in the day or am I wrong ?
Also build any .45 with the double stack grip and its a hi capa I recall hearing that a double stacked mag is against the law or something in the usa maybe that`s why mainstream gun makers don`t make a "hi capa" .45 type gun ?

No 30 rounders on that link Im afraid.

Funny that this lot are selling double stack pistols too.
Also note again the lack of 30 rounders.

but just to add to my point
1911 @ 200 yards hitting a man size target

1911 @ 230 yards shooting what looks to me like a big frying pan ?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v2cno...eature=related
An SV 6 inch is more accurate never mind the longer versions they do
Sorry for the DP and being able to hit the wings of a fly was a joke a .45 round is bigger then a fly.

Re: Hi.Capa's
Ha ha, that is awful at best. Ive seen a Beta mag in a Glock and that sucked as well, not very good for practical shooting though. :D

Wow cos that was accurate
I also said no good over 40-50m which is a pistols active kill range.
The fact he aims 2 foot above the target and hits a couple of times at 182 meters.
The fact the time it takes the round to reach the target the sound has already got to you and you have already moved. So no good at all really is it, the fact the guy even admitted he wasnt expecting to hit the target at that range anyway.
Again another moot point made on your part.
@Omnomnom, that guy is ace, he makes me laugh.
