Here's a few pictures of mine, completed except for the vortex flash hider which I am working on getting sorted. Currently skirmishing it with a PEQ-16 and killflash but thought I'd put it up looking as accurate as possible.

Thanks for that moviemaker... Not sure I can be biased enough to agree with you, there are some awesome looking L85s on this thread, but I do appreciate that you think it looks good, it's taken a long time to get it right... I'm certainly very pleased with it.

Jay8 that is beautiful, trying to get one looking like that myself, hated it on the real ones love it on the airsoft ones, rather odd that way lol

Probabally the time to do it, the whole project used to be horrifically expensive, but now it's not a terrible amount for a really unique gun, they certainly provoke good comments. I really love how the ACOG looks on an L85 if it's the right one, just suits a RISed up L85 in the same way a SUSAT suits the classic.

The ARES l85 http://www.zerooneairsoft.com/produc...oducts_id=2034 looks really light coloured in this picture are they all like this?

Can you get them in a dark green colour?

The ARES is spot-on; that's just gash product photography.

I have a RS A2 handguard for when I'm not using the RIS, it is a fairly close match for the Star, which is almost indistinguishable from the Ares furniture wise. If anything the other brands seem too dark and flat, more dark green than OD.

As others said, that photo is terrible, I'd have no qualms about going for an Ares, or failing that, a Star. Externally they look much better to me than any others.
