Re: MP5 series SMG's
Ok as far as I know, the cm027 series are Tm clones. so that is the plastic ones I think. However the CM041 and CM049 series are the metal ones and are G&G clones. I have a CM049 with folding stock and RIS. as far as a folding stock goes, get a CYMA one from ******* for £8. Works and fits mine fine. Battery wise, If you have a cm041/49 series, an 8.4 mini crane type should fit, if you have a CYMA handguard. As they are G&G clones, the middle part of the body is longer as the hop up adjuster is under the dust cover, so a JG, TM, ICS handguard wont fit as the body forces the handuard up, almost to the cocking lever and doesn't allow enough room inside for a battery. I'm after a CYMA Handguard, just though Id give you a heads up before you buy parts that don't fit like i have.

Re: MP5 series SMG's
I have a TM MP5 RAS lying around somewhere.. Must be close to about 10yrs old.... what i remember is that I pimped out the gearbox completely with systema internals including a systema gearbox....I recall it used to shot about 347 fps and had a silly lightening ROF....

Re: MP5 series SMG's
Does anyone happen to know of a RIS kit for an MP5 that accomodates an 8.4v mini battery for a gun with a retractable stock? Preferably one available in the UK.
Failing that, anyone know of an integrated torch handguard that kicks out serious light? I have a classic army one at the moment but it really isn't bright enough so after some recommendations?

Re: MP5 series SMG's
That one on mine above is a CYMA C.43 and If you cut off the barrel cover you can fit an 8.4mini.

Re: MP5 series SMG's
OOOOOOOOOOOOLD Classic Army MP5a2. Needed a lot of work but I'm nearly there. Just needs the lugs replacing inside the handguard and it'll be awesome.
