I'm not completely sure, but I think thats because when Magpul made the design the charging handel was where it is on the A&K because its a Masada. When the design was sold to bushmaster/remington the altered a few things, the charging handle being one of those things the Magpul pts version is an acr not a Masada..... I think

ah right i knew it had been changed allot over its design period for example i hate to bring it up but the one on modern warfare 2 is completely different to mine and apparently mines the official one haha

tbh i think that looks awesome lefty. kinda annoying theres a gap beteen the top of the launcher and the magwell but still looks good
