Parts have arrived for my CTW DMR upper! Just got to wait for the CTW and scope mount to arrive so I can bolt it all onto my spare upper!

My new SR-25, loving it already. Locked to semi but shooting sub 350fps so can take it to most sites.

Heres my Celcius CTW. Taken me a while to piece it all together but i'm very happy with it, its fantastically lightweight with cracking range. Very chuffed! Parts list as follows:

My G&P M14 DMR - The Beginning!





Needless to say, it didn't stay electric blue for long.

The Paint was an ABSOLUTE PIG! Ended up going to Carb and Intake Cleaner, be careful if you try this, it melts ABS.
Also, the Yellow Paint is COMPLETELY different to the Blue Metallic paint...grrr

More AR based im afraid. Mostly put together out of bits box.



Nice and consistant shots. Locked to semi. Getting chrono'd tomorrow, running a m150 spring. Lets hope its not TOO high. Garden is 120' and lose sight before starts to drop.

Got it painted - finally.

Took a full strip with Fairy Power spray and then Carb Cleaner when I got impatient.
The Carb cleaner ate the plastic and made it shine when I wiped it so it got a good sand down.

Then 2 coats grey plastic primer, 3 coats Halfords Camouflage Green and 2 Coats Halfords Camouflage Black on Grip Sections and upper heat shield.

What range do you get roughly from a stock RS SVD? Just curious as everyone raves about the performance on them
